Mariangela Nicolardi is a doctoral student at the UniversityParis1 Panthéone-Sorbonne. She participated to the master programme Maritime Archaeology and History and techniques of underwater methodological research at the University Ca’ Foscari in Venice. Her main research interest is the reconstruction of the ships’ lines through the process of matching the archaeological and historical sources. She will contribute to the project through the interpretation of cognitive and practical aspects of shipbuilding through ages, and setting up the nautical archaeology methodology and procedures.
