Daniel Džino obtained his PhD in 2006 Ph.D. from the University of Adelaide, where he was appointed Visiting Research Fellow in Classics in 2006, until joining Macquarie University in 2010. He is specialised in the study of prehistoric, ancient, late antique and early medieval south-eastern Europe, but also of later perceptions of these periods. His particular field of research is the region of eastern Adriatic and its hinterland. He will contribute to the project through the reconstruction and interpretation of the historical context.
