The 3rd International Symposium on Anchialine Ecosystems was held in Merida (Yucatan, Mexico) from 9th to 13th November 2015. Neven Cukrov (Institute Ruđer Bošković, Division for Marine and Environmental Research) and Irena Radić Rossi (University of Zadar, Department of Archaeology) presented the talk The anchialine caves as a fresh water resource on the Eastern Adriatic seafaring route. The Croatian researchers Petra Kovač-Konrad and Branko Jalžić also participated in the symposium, presenting the talks Submarine springs (vrulja) Modra and Zečica, and The Anchialine caves in the Kornati National Park.
