The 1st Course Workshop ARS NAUTICA – Seafaring through Ages was held from 7th to 14th June 2015 at the Inter-University Centre in Dubrovnik. The theoretical part of the course workshop was integrated through the fieldwork on the late 16th century shipwreck site in the bay of Suđurađ on the island of Šipan. The course figured as the introductory course for a series of events dealing with maritime and nautical cultural heritage, planned for realization in the framework of the AdriaS Project.
